Pizza with Grandma and Grandpa D!

Last night Marc and I went to my grandparents house for dinner. We had one of my favorite meals - pizza, salad, and bread sticks! It was a lot of fun. Maddie played with several toys, but ultimately decided an empty box was her favorite. She also enjoyed some quality time with her great-grandparents.

Thanks for letting us hang out last night Grandma and Grandpa!

Ice Cream at Stooky's

Hmmm, I'm glad our waitress brought this out for me!

It tastes so good I want to use both my hand and my spoon!

I'm so happy!

Supervision Optional

If you know me at all, you know that I often don't go to far without my huge Disney tumbler filled with water or without a giant gas station pop (Dr Pepper or Coke only!) Some days I fear the gas station pop wins out over the much healthier water, but that's a battle to be fought another day.

Right now I want to discuss the dangers of leaving your drink unsupervised. I have a tendency to set things down and forget about them for a while. Its a bad habit of mine. I know the DH (Its blogging term for dear husband...Yeah, I'm not fond of it either - why not just say Marc?) I know that Marc always gets frustrated when he can't find the house phone or remote. I just carry it with me and set it down and then forget! Well, I'm afraid the same holds true to my drinks! The other night I found the dangers in doing that, you'll see below what I mean...Enjoy the pictures!

I guess she's going to be a Mt Dew girl.......

Lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Roberts

Its been a while since I've posted. Not having the Internet at home is really hard!

A few weekends ago we got the chance to meet up with Jon and Betty Jo in Indianapolis. It had been a busy weekend, since on Saturday night we took a group of Jr Leaders to Brown County for their officer retreat. We are fortunate to be part of 4-H still and love the group of kids we get to work with.

Coming home from Brown County we met up with Marc's folks at a restaurant called The Journey. It was an interesting buffet with a good variety of food. They had sushi, which I didn't try, but Marc really got into it! They also had a chocolate fountain which was by far my favorite part of the food service!

Here is a picture from our lunch date! It was so darn cute I had to post it. Thanks Jon for sharing it with me!!!

Christmas - catching up!

Christmas came and went too quickly this year! We had a wonderful Christmas season. It was a great time to see family and eat way too much. :) Marc and I were fortunate to have some vacation time between Christmas and New Years. We had a lot of things planned to do, but unfortunately those things were postponed since Maddie had her first bout of the flu. It wasn't fun. In fact, she's just now getting back to normal. That stuff is nasty, but thankfully it didn't spread to everyone in our family like I've heard it has in other households.

The little bug really got into opening gifts this year. The first family Christmas, she wasn't too sure she wanted to tear the paper, but by the last Christmas dinner, she was opening everything! She did such a great job!

I must have been a good girl this year, because (like every Christmas) Marc spoiled me! He gave me some perfume (that I absolutely love) called Laila, a bracelet from Tiffany's, new sunglasses, and a Tilly hat for this summer! He also suprised me with plane tickets to Colorado to see my sister for a long weekend! Yay! :)

Below are some picture from our different Christmas get togethers. Enjoy!
