Valentine's Day Weekend

This past weekend we went down to Louisville, KY for the Farm Machinery Show. We left right after work on Friday evening, stopping in Indy for a bite to eat. I had a gift certificate, so we ate at Ted's Montana Grill. It was pretty good. We both got the bison steaks! Very, very juicy and good!

After Ted's we headed down to stay the night in Scottsburg, IN. Marc got a great deal on a room using his points he earned in all of his traveling for work! It was really nice. We were able to go to bed early and had a nice breakfast before we ventured further south.

Once we got to the farm show we started making our usual rounds. It was busier than we remembered it being in years past. We weren't sure if that was because of the nice weather or our lack of tolorance that we have for crowds these days. Either way, we only ended up staying for a little while. While at the show we did enjoy some roasted almonds and fresh mini donuts! We had fun.

After the show, we ate at our usual dining establishment that we eat at when we get down that way - KingFish. Its always really good and very filling. Duke had alot of left over shrimp that night.

On the way home we stopped at a Bass Pro Shop. I had never been. I'm glad we decided to stop! It was worth the visit. We walked through the store (that was also very crowded), played a couple rounds of a shooting game, then ended up buying matching hats....It was a blast! We also stopped at a Russell Stovers Candy store...They had advertised "free samples"....Boy was that a lie! It was still fun to check it out though!

Here are some pictures from our trip. There are a couple of Daisy enjoying her Vday gift too! I hope you all have a fun weekend like we had!
